I enjoyed the Q&A, even though it was pretty much a rehash of information that is already out there. I loved the MJ repeated multiple times that this show is about friendship.

The two biggest takeaways I had from the Q&A were:

The fact that MJ's answer to a question about how long Lucas/Maya or Lucas/Riley will last is that, "there is only one Corpanga" makes me even more convinced that neither girl is ending the show with Lucas.

I honestly didn't get a feeling that Riley/Lucas, Maya/Lucas were long term. Then again I thought he also made it seem like Riley/Farkle weren't happening either. Weird answers. I'm confused.

If you didn't know better you'd think Riley and Maya were endgame romantically and I'd ship that.

I think he means because of 2 couples it will cause another couple. As for Riarkle I don't believe they're dead, at first I was Batman mad but after someone on Tumblr started breaking down what he said it all makes sense.

Very weird answers and very vague and super obnoxious, actually. He just seemed annoyed with a lot of the questions but I guess most show writers are so so sensitive about people not liking their work.
Im glad to hear that and its a valid question because its obvious they are trying to show it that way.

I love how he says there was never a triangle. UM yes there was. When you literally make a character call two girls his girlfriends, and say hes torn between them and you make him choose, thats an effing triangle. He acts so offended that people were asking questions about it and kept saying "its about friendship, its about friendship" so why the EFF would you create a triangle to begin with?



Ill say word about Maya and Riley being endgame instead.

I posted it in the Riarkle thread I hope it helps it may be a long read but long story short they pointed out MJ said Farkle never had feelings not he never will also they pointed out MJ said Farkle's romance feelings are with Smackle like right now he's with her but that doesn't mean things will stay that way, and they pointed out equally doesn't mean the same I mean look at Cory/Shawn/Topanga Cory loves them equally but he doesn't love them the same way. Plus MJ said Farkle would never change that/genius they pointed out its like MJ is saying its a choice but then they pointed out so far the show has been showing us feelings aren't a choice we can't chose how we feel plus on GMT Farkle said there may not be a scientific way to solve the triangle.

Yeah, I just viewed it superficially. I should reread and see what someone said on Tumblr about Riley/Farkle. To me, they seemed more possible than the other two but it was weird how he said Farkle loves them both equally, etc.

He does seem annoyed by all the shipping questions, though. Or maybe they do have this big twist and he just has to be really coded and vague. He certainly was vague.

One thing he wasn't vague about was the move to freeforum he's right though its up to Disney to make that choice, and I believe after 4 seasons they will end the show just like they did the other Disney Channel shows.

It's been a long time since I watched GMW. I was done after "Girl Meets Fish". They started hinting at the kiddie love triangle in the previews and that was the final straw for me. If I wanted to sit through a triangle I'd go rewatch OTH. I read recaps every now and then I just can't believe how much time has been wasted on this nonsense. I'm glad BMW came on when it did. I saw the pictures of Shawn proposing to Katy They've barely interacted but now they're supposedly in love and getting married all so Maya can get the father she wants. That's some shoddy writing. I skipped "Girl Meets Hurricane" after I read about the way the writers butchered Angela's return. I'm still bummed. Angela was one of my fav characters and the writers turned her into this obstacle that was blocking Maya's happinesses . I remember reading an interview Michael Jacobs did when the episode came out where he said that he if had two sets of friends that met in high school and got married it would be less special somehow. It was something ridiculous like that and about how there can only be one Cory and Topanga. Shawn and Angela were always Shawn and Angela. It's a shame I really wanted to love this show. But it's turned out to be a colossal disappointment. I just don't get it. BMW had it flaws but despite that it was still better written than this.
