They're good, but Gerard hated and felt awkward with her because she was a minor, so a lot of what they did was borderline illegal. Definite better chemistry on stage versions...but that's because they do the show 8 times a week for months at a time, so you naturally get chemistry that way

He hated it? I heard that he felt rather comfortable (not as in really enjoying it but at least not awkward). This was news to me. But if he did indeed feel ucncomfortable I can understand him. I think their chemistry was rather good but it probably would be even better if she was maybe at least 20.

I can understand that too. I watched this last night and didn't see an awkwardness, so if he did feel that, it never showed.

Am I the only one who disliked the way they changed the beginning with Raoul showing up? To me it felt like they wanted to give the impression that he was the male lead and not Erik/Phantom.

My favorite song in the movie was Learn to Be Lonely. Makes me wanna cry each time I listen to it
