I don't believe it, they've just started showing the first season on BBC2 and then they put it on hold for Snooker!

Snooker? Wow, that's evil. Did they interrupt in the middle of an episode?

That's from another British comedy -"Blackadder: Goes Forth", in the fourth series. Maybe they used it in Red dwarf too...

:looks about: was my feelings for the remastered ones showing? It's not that they even sucked or anything .. but they cut some good lines and put in computerized people and skutters and grrr that sorta deal. But the picture is clear. </STRONG>

They're the originals, I'm fairly sure - they look it, even the tapes they play show this. I watch it and then "Monkey"

Ah Red Dwarf... Yeah, i was a bit miffed too when they stopped showing it after one episode. One thing though. Gotta the toaster. And as for quotes...

Rimmer: "I've seen Westerns, I know how to speak cowboy."
Steps up to the bar.
Rimmer: "Dry white wine and Perrier, please ."

Kryten: "But if people see my face, what are they going to think?"
Rimmer: "Tell them you had an accident. Tell them you took your car to the crushers and forgot to get out."

Cat: "You're going to go with one of my plans? Are you nuts? What happens if we all get killed? I'll never hear the last of it."

Nope, they just replaced it with the snooker, they did the same thing with Farscape as well. Good news is that it's back on this week.

I need to learn to spell

Welcome to the thread, Suzanne!

I have the Red Dwarf premiere downloading right now, but my computer is being stupid and cutting out every few minutes. At this point the "time remaining" is 15 some-odd hours. I really should just invest in DVDs.

I never saw any...but my bro said it's funny so I made him promise to borrow some tapes from someone. As soon as we finish borrowing all the Fawlty Towers tapes.

I've just read in SFX mag that the DVDs will be the original versions not the remastered ones.

Ok. Here's a question. What is everyone's fave episode? I really don't have one but i do have to say the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse one is great. What else? Def the ones with Ace Rimmer and Dwayne Dibley. God those two make me laugh.
