Yeah thats right. The most famous example of this British sitcom Fawlty Towers, starring Monty Python's John Cleese. It was the most famous show in the country, getting some of the highest ratings figures in British TV history and was universally adored. Then John Cleese, who also wrote and produced it, stopped it after just 2 seasons and a total of 12 episodes. For 33 years now, people have been crying for more episodes- its been voted the most popular British Programme ever- but there has been no more episodes since 1979. Why? Because John Cleese said he wanted it to go out on top, rather than let it go stale, and because of that its remembered as one of the best shows this country has ever produced. Genius decision. Thats what they should have done with LOST and thats what they should do with Touch...

Well I can understand that, but not cut it out that soon.

I mean 12 episodes, are you kidding me? lol... I understand the fans crying, if the show was great.

NBC has given a order to a Drama About the world's most wanted criminal. Kiefer offered a co starting role . Touch is 99.99% done in May . If we hope it is a big if, took the role . 24 movie would be dead ... He starts a movie in April

Yup only 12 half hour episodes. However, because it was only 12 episodes, its widely regarded as one of the greatest shows in UK TV history. Its timeless.

As for the pilot, firstly we don't know that the story is true. Could just be a rumour. Secondly there's no guarantee it makes it past pre-production. Thirdly there's no guarantee the pilot will get picked up. I will agree that Touch is dead though.

I know, but I can understand the frustration....

As far as the 24 movie goes, if they want it to happen it's going to happen. Right now it seems like something is missing... probably it's the script or FOX. I don't know.

End of Touch(last 5 min ) tonight alone was worth watching .. kiefer with a gun emptying it out on bad guy !! People dying around him ,old friend .. he is the executive producer so i can see why the shades of 24 blend in for his fans.
