But the reality is that rooting for this couple os extremely difficult but makes the story a hell of a lot more interesting

Yes it is and the writers is not helping at all lately. But I need to say I usually chose characters with my guts so it's not really a conscious action. Beside my deep passion for Chris that leaded me to like Peter (and now love him) I admit that Diane was my first choice and I didn't move from that. I added Eli the moment I saw him and Kurt and a bit of Jackie. I have conflicted feelings towards Glenn/Titus.
I tried to like Cary, to find him interesting but I failed

Can I just say that passion isn't everything?

We tried to exploit the other feelings in the previous threads and btw, without passion it's a relationship not worth the effort - not just this case and not just a relationship

You mean where she gives him a peck on the cheek and he "tries"to kiss her.. I liked part of the scene... but when he says "you wouldn't have to work"... she makes a face, rather than expressing what she really thinks, but he was not really serious about that anyways...

yes that scene!!! I love that she tells him to follow his heart giving him political advice, love it!! and then she gives him a peck on the cheek, then he pulls her over for a kiss and there is a pause and they both go for it and he says "thank you" in such a sexy way And yes she did make a face in the talk, however he was not saying anything bad just pointing out that with all that many none of them had to really work

I LOVED that scene as well - So much - Easily one of my faves on the series entire run

Just lovely - Peter was so open and vunerable in the scene and it's perhaps the warmest and most caring that we have seen Alicia with Peter.

A really sweet scene - their gestures and body language speak volumes.

There is still a lot of care there!!

Oh most definitely - She is still very guarded with him

It does make me wonder if she still has any salvagable feelings left for Peter?

I do think she still loves him but is perhaps no longer in love with him

However with how the Kings sometimes talk ( i.e - Will being the love of her life ... etc etc ) it occasionally make you wonder why Alicia chose Peter in the first place - Doesn't necessarily say the best things about her character.

But I guess that's just more unexplained,unshown feeling and motivation that we the viewers are left to discern for ourselves
