It's frustrating because as long as he was in jail you could see a little tiny steps forward every episode but since he's home, we came to an impasse. I can understand the purpose of it but it's frustrating nevertheless.

I find interaction between Peter /Alicia very frustrating right now. She totally shuts him down, and he seems to be clueless as to what is required to move forward( although I guess that is reasonable )... what is someone in his position supposed to do to get forgiveness?? Right now Peter is a fairly unlikeable character especially with respect to his treatment of Alicia( going beyond the cheating). Does he respect her professionally... so far he appears a bit condescending. Maybe that will become part of the story. It's just that right now, the "good" character is Will, and there are so many unanswered questions vis a vis P/A marriage.... does she really want to go along with his being in politics again? what if he lands in jail? -this is a good way of keeping him in the plot without getting rid of him. As they are playing it now, she almosts seems to actively dislike him. How long can that go on.... I see in doubt they are starting to involve the kids. Alicia will have to see that her choices affect them as well ( ie her flirtation with Will, and treating her husband like a housemate. They need to have a long chat, which I hope they include as part of the story line.

Interesting that thus far, they have not brought a marriage therapist /counsellor on board... would not not have been a logical step for most couples in this sitn???

And whatever alicia's feelings for Will, wouldn't she feel a tinge of guilt ... she is furious with her husband for cheating -rightfully so, but now she is being tempted. Dialogue below is interesting ... when she asks Peter why he cheated... and he says he was on a power trip, she says "don't blame it on that"... what would she blame her feelings on????
