I read on another board a poster saying that the vision that Rey had in TFA (the Knights of Ren), was one of the past, according to a writer, not the future. Is that certain?

And if it's the past, does it explain why Kylo Ren seemed to recognize Rey? Like, she popped up while he was with his Knights, he saved her and she vanished but he remembered her and recognized her in TFA?

That's the first time I hear about it. But I never really dwelled on it since it was never certain that it was a vision of the future.




I just think that it's because Snoke talked about a force that has awakened with Kylo. There's been an awakening." and then asks him "Have you felt it?". This happened when Rey and Finn helped Han and Chewie escape the two gangs, so not long after she left Jakku. I feel like the second she left, the Force awakened, because she got onto her journey, which eventually led her to Kylo. As his light counterpart. But the point his, I think he recognized the she was the one Snoke talked about. In the novel in the forest when Rey calls the saber to her, he even says "It is you!" He wasn't sure during the interrogation scene, because she was "just" a scavanger. But he sensed something from her already, just couldn't quite believe it, because of who she was. When she called the saber, it convinced him. At least that's what I think.

Althought he did ask one of his men at the beginning "What girl?!" when they told him about her. So it's possible I guess Or he just didn't expect any girl to be with them.

I've read a lot of theories about Rey showing up in the past and that being the reason why Kylo sorta recognized her, but it's all very ambiguous, it could be so many things.

Nothing has been confirmed, has it? We can't possibly speak in absolutes, until the trilogy has concluded. Remember that people had a million theories about TLJ and many of them were wrong.


I think I'll get the TLJ audiobook I've heard the following things -


Han Solo and the Princess plays during Reylo's battle for the lightsaber
Across The Stars plays during Rey's decision to "wait" for Ben Solo


That is all I need to convince me Romantic or what?

It must be so hard to do interviews for STAR WARS movies. Ever since TFA, the crew have treated it like FBI Top Secret Information like even the tiniest detail would be for everyone but they don't consider that if the actors say nothing, they will get criticized


Adam is great at deflecting. "Hmm, that's interesting..." "Wow, I don't know." "HEY, LOOK AT THE STARS ON THAT PICTURE!"


I think it's hilarious that Rey is asking Ben to help her save the Resistance, just days after he was helping to attack their ships
