Luke frightened Rey so much in that moment that it severed her connection with Kylo Oh my god

Luke was literally coming between them. That is devastating.

BTW, did you read these (from the Junior novel?)

Rey is THAT hot and bothered by Kylo that she has to literally work out her frustrations.

Adam didn't just express anger in that scene, though. The junior novel has a straight-forward take on that, and it wasn't that simple. He looks devastated at Rey

Yeah, something always breaks when these two fight. First it was the ground, now it's the saber. Althought the ground wasn't really their doing, but still, I think that it's a sign that they shouldn't be fighting together
