Yea, they practically have nothing in common with the EU Mandos. I still think GL/DF did it on purpose just to flip EU fans the bird.

Well, if not for X3 and Origins, First Class is really good. I actually found myself rooting for Magneto.

X3 was terrible, but I thought Origins was an okay film. I haven't seen First Class yet. Steph liked it.

Origins was pretty crappy. Some really bad miscasting there. Not to mention twisting the story. And a generally unintelligent, messy film.

I think they figured the fanservice would get the ladies in, and thought a comic book movie would work on that alone.

And while fanservice is everywhere in comics, it's usually the fans of other gender being serviced.

You know, now that we're getting closer to TPM in 3D I'm starting to get excited against my better judgement. I know that it's just a money thing, but at the same time the only SW films I've seen in theaters were AotC and RotS. It will be fun to see them all on the big screen.

It was. I would stand there with my eyes glued to the screen till the scene was over.
Especially when Hayden and Ewan were on screen

I am not that into 3D but do like that I'll get to see them all in theaters again.
