How tough was that? I had always thought about doing it, but never delved into it very much.

While we're on the topic of the Sith, and so on... what if the Emperor had built a guard of Imperial Knights - Force trained, lightsaber wielding, bodyguards? What would Luke have done then? After all, he had Vader, and Mara, possibly other Hands, some Dark Jedi servants... so he wasn't averse to having other evil Force-wielders around him. I don't know what would happen in GL's mind...however, in the EU. he had surrounded himself with several adepts...no full knights though, as the nature of the Sith is to be paranoid and untrustworthy. Eventually, the student becomes the teacher....which means that the teacher dies....the Emperor wouldn't want that to happen.
