I wasn't a fan of how they portrayed the Jedi's either. They came across as a bunch of elitists and somehow I can't really see that fitting their job criteria.

It would be hard to bring balance to the force when you're looking down your nose at everyone.

Yeah they were full of pride and obviously felt superior. It went against everything that was shown in the OT.

You can kind of understand why there might have been an imbalance in the first place.

That's not what Lucas meant by an imbalance. As he explained in a video doc that came out before the Prequels, the imbalance was the presence of the Dark Side and balancing the Force meant getting rid of the Dark Side. Lucas doesnt know the meaning of the word "balance."

He also doesn't know what a generation is. A generation is generally taken as 25 years, In Star Wars/ANH Kenobi says the Republic stood for 1000 generations, which adds up to 25,000 years. In the Prequels LUcas screwed up and switched that to 1000 years. The guy can't keep his own story straight.

Did he have a drinking problem ? This is a serious question Because these type of inconsistencies aren't normal Plus doesn't he have a team to keep the story straight? Like someone to come up to him and say "ahm I think the math is wrong".
