The problem with the prequels besides the terrible script and wooden acting, was how unlikable all the characters were. They either came across as snooty or incredibly boring. And don't even get me started on Anakin... He was like a creeper in certain instances.

To me the saving graces were Ewan as Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul who's a cool villain. I also enjoyed Padme in the first two movies. But the whole trilogy is very artificial and badly directed.

Don't forget Qui Gon. He was the best thing in the Prequels. Padme was good in TPM but she was already in decline in AOTC.
The films had terrible direction, writing, acting and visuals and showed a lack of judgement in many areas, such as in Yoda's idiotic fights with Dooku and Palpatine. Worst of all were the two Anakins. Hayden Christensen delivered a world record bad performance and the kid was bloody annoying too. __________________
