Do you think that there will be a Ben-Chewie meeting inn IX? I don't want Chewie to die, he is the only one remaining from the OT (well, with the droids), and if in Solo, it's revealed that he has a family, then I would want him to go back to them at the end of episode IX.
And maybe to make peace with Ben. __________________

Yeah, I'd like that. I assume Ben spent a lot of time playing with him when he was a child
 And I don't think Chewie's family's alive. It seems to me that he spent most of the time with Han. I don't think he'd abandon them like that. __________________

TFTNT! I could stare at that OP all day.
 I really want a Ben and Chewie moment for sure. And I agree, having him have a family to get back to would be a good way to end Chewie in the franchise. The poor actor's health isn't great. That's why Chewie is sitting down for most of the movie.  __________________

About Chewie, I think we'll know the answer in the movie Solo. I don't know much about Star Wars outside the movies so if in other mediums, was it revealed in books or comics that his family was dead? Also, he had a life debt to Han, but with Han Solo dead, can't he return to his planet to live there?
About Ben's Relationship with Chewie, I think that in one of the books, little Ben called him Uncle Chewie. Same with Lando. I don't think we'll see Lando (the actor who played him is old and not in a good health) so maybe it will be Chewie and Ben instead? __________________

I know I read somewhere that Chewie has a family, but what I'm unsure of is whether that was in the "legends" EU or current canon...a trip to wookiepedia should solve this question.
