my only hope is that it's more like the Broadway musical than the animated movie. Those tunes were amazing!

I saw the Broadway play back in June, it's great and definitely worth seeing. I liked the teaser trailer too, can't wait. I love the Disney live action films.

Um....you get compensation for the originally movie when you SOLD YOUR IDEA TO DISNEY. They didn't rent their idea. They sold it. Boo fn hoo.

and I haven't seen the Broadway, it's been here in Detroit and is coming back but i probably won't go. My sister saw it in New York with the original cast (the Genie was amazing and it was the animated Jafar playing Jafar live!) but I have the CD and listen on Spotify and it's truly amazing!

This isn't surprising but the Genie was the best part of the play, along with his song "Friend like me," OMG it was freaking amazing!!! Go see it if you can.

the Disney medley he does in that is so awesome. Shame that probably won't be in the movie...but if it is, it would be amazing!
