TFTNT! The title was, of course, inspired by the "you-know-you're-a-SW-geek-if... list" that Steph posted in the last thread.

And for the record, I tell people to use the force all the time!

I always say "use the force" or try to use the force. But it's a good thing I don't have it otherwise I'd be a lazy & selfish person.

"My kids aren't remotely interested in these films, it's so funny and quite disappointing but they're just not that interested," he said.

"I've tried a bit but I'm not going to push them to watch anything. They've seen them and they're not that interested - they're girls! I've got three girls, maybe when they're a bit older they'll be into it," Ewan laughed.

but but...did he show them the OT or the PT? That makes a difference. Maybe he showed them the wrong trilogy. And girls can love SW too.

Girls can definitely love SW. We are all evidence of that. He must have shown them the new ones first.

Ewan did wrong by not showing them the OT first (if that's what happened). I get that he's the best part of the PT, and he'd want them to see him, but the OT is the true beginning.

^^ And when I show my kids the movies, I'm going to show them the OT first and repeatedly and then wait a few years before showing them the PT.

I will only show my kids the PT if they are already so crazy-in-love with the OT that they insist on seeing everything! Otherwise, I'll just hide the PT away and they'll never have to know.
