Charley is a female moose?

I figure wolves and moose both live in Alaska so....

I guess he really knows his moose anatomy.

Actually, on a serious note, I am pretty sure that only the males have horns, so it would be pretty easy to identify a male vs female. No special checking needed.

ahhhh OK, I'm actually relieved about that. So they are like deer then where the males have antlers and the females don't.

I was a little sad when I went to Alaska and didn't get to see a moose. I did see whales and bears and an eagle, but the moose were hiding.

^Same here. That would be extraordinary.

I hate being cold, but I think it would be really neat to stay in that ice hotel they build once a year. And supposedly it's not even cold inside, because they line everything with fur.
