I hope it's a successful show. Loved the movie though I know it got mixed reviews. I'm afraid the show won't make it to S2. Don't want to be too hopeful as it will be a harder blow.

It was a good movie, but they kind of cram the first three books into it so it moves really fast and is really full.

It could have been better if they'd done one book at a time. They had casting issues though, imo, not in that the actors were wrong for the part, more that they were older than they should be. If they had cast younger it probably would have been easier to continue without them growing up too much - the books don't span across a long time.
