That scene, yeah....

Chloe's always all 'Don't get too close', 'Stay away from me'. But then she thinks it's okay to just walk up to Lucifer and touch him like that?!
I would have liked that scene more if her 'Don't touch me' mantra was toned down a little.

In a lot of ways Chloe/Lucifer is a bit of a tragic pairing (assuming Chloe doesn't somehow becoming immortal or Lucifer become mortal/human). I mean eventually Chloe will die and go to heaven. I don't think Lucifer can necessary go to heaven to visit Chloe.

Well, if Lucifer can just leave Hell to live on earth under humans, why can't he go visit Heaven and dear old dad?

But yeah. I don't know how Chloe could become immortal. What would she even become? An Angel? A demon? Doesn't god just creat those? You know, like Lucifer, Amandiel (yeah, surely spelled wrong) and Maze.

He coul just stay on earth until Chloe dies. But by then he'd probably would want to stay for Trixie and probably some 'grandkids'.
And maybe he'll even have kids with Chloe at some point. If it's possible.

Also he's getting more human the longer he stays around humans (or Chloe; beside the point). Does that mean he'll grow old(er) at some point?

Well that's all very based on Christianity, the show could go a number of ways that follow other cultures/religions to make them be together.

Sure, there's a god everywhere, not matter the name. But everything else we got so far...?

But whatever. I don't want to get into some religious debate, nor for the show to go down some religious road. Would take the fun out of it.

Well the obvious point here is precisely that there is an afterlife. Without doubt. If Lucifer were to become mortal, his sins forgiven and died he would go to heaven with Chloe.

But considering that God doesn't even want him on earth, but back in hell, I'm not sure his sins would be forgiven. Then he would just end up in Hell again. Only this time not as the master of the place.

Well Lucifer does say he is the favorite son.

Something about his comment to Amenadiel (I believe in the pilot) says god can choose a new ruler of hell

yeah, I'd like to see Chloe care/show concern for Lucifer.

But if he's his favourite son, why doesn't he just let him have his earthly fun for a while.
I know, because someone needs to take care of hell.

But hey, he could appoint an interim hell master.
