I saw a post this morning on my facebook, my cousin who shares my first real name, she had a friend who commented on her post and the girls' name was Isabel Briones. I thought for a second, what are the chances that my cousin is actual friends with Isa who played Soji and Dahj?

It isn't her, but I always say and this tends to be very true with Filipinos, it is an international connection. Someone always knows someone.

My sister-in-law and myself are both Christine, so I started to just use Chris. And I always put my middle initial on legal documents to be sure to differentiate us.

It's funny that another person has exactly the same name as the actress. Was that person filipino too?

He may have watched a few episodes here and there, but surely not all of it. I wish CBS fired him and took in a showrunner that actually loves star trek and doesn't just want to make some random sci-fi show to bait fans with classic characters.

Being a white guy with connections helps a lot in hollywood even if you don't actually have talent.

Sometimes he acted like the Picard we knew from TNG. Other times I just had to shake my head and wonder what was going on.

I was liking that from the 2nd eppy in, 5 mins of Picard, the other times

, only time I thought I saw Picard the most was the Riker/Troi eppy
