Yeah, the time jump is 6 years so we don't know what Rick has been doing in those 6 years which we will see whenever the AMC Walking Dead Movies come out starring Andrew Lincoln.

For the Walking Dead series, they want to focus on the main three: Darly, Michonne and Carol I believe.

I am amazed that I had no idea, and was so confused when this little boy ran up to Michonne and called her "mommy".

Michonne grieved Rick for years, Lori was sleeping with Shane after only a few weeks. I don't believe in soulmates but Michonne and Rick felt like they had something more real.

Haha. I was waiting for the moment the surprise reveal of Richonne child appeared since the beginning of the season was building for it. I felt it would've been a letdown if not.

You are correct about Lori... I actually was thinking about it...
It's a shame that Lori gave up pretty quickly and was together with Rick's best friend so quickly after he "died" and it's 5 years for Michonne and it's very different.
I think that right there shows how much more powerful their connection is.

I think Andrew Lincoln would agree since he already called Michonne the greatest love of Rick's life. lol
