Ah ok, well Maggie had time to talk about Eugene's mullet while Beth was missing so it's confirmed that is bull****. And that's why they get away with not writing for Maggie or being sexist or being repetitive because "fans" will bend over backwards to make excuses for the show.

It's the scene where they are fishing at the quarry. Not only was it a well-written scene I loved it on an aesthetic level too.

That won't help much as honestly I don't remember too much from S1 (1-3 to be honest). I remember some things but not a whole bunch.

Though I might try and find a clip of it to refresh my memory. Especially with how you are describing.

It was so random and unnecessary and just plain stupid. Meanwhile, Beth has been kidnapped and is being beaten. And tiic wonder why the show doesn't get nominated for stuff. JFC.

That's one of the moments I remember really well because I really did think it was well done. I can't find the clip so if you find it let me know. I wouldn't mind watching it again but I don't want to have to go through a whole episode, no matter how good it used to be.

I could probably watch Still all the way through... even though it would hurt. And Slabtown... but that episode upsets me now considering what they do to Beth.

So there is always something there messing it up.

I don't think I could watch Still. I can barely look at pics of Emily and Norman without thinking what a gigantic ****ing waste of their chemistry. I can't even imagine sitting thru a whole episode of all that beautiful buildup knowing it goes absolutely nowhere. It would just make me sad. *sigh* I really do want to watch Slabtown because Emily was so great in it but like you it's just upsetting now. It ended up being all torture porn for no reason.

Yep. It would have been one thing (though why she had to go through it at all...) if she had went through all this and dealt with the **** being said and done and got out. But nope. They wanted to abuse her and then kill her. And then have Daryl watch her get shot right in the head.

Yeah, shows will **** up but that badly? I personally don't know of any.

And Maggie wailing and collapsing? I almost want to laugh. Manipulative is the perfect word to describe it.
