That is such a great scene. I love him being worried and him seeing how bad it is.

I've posted gifs of that scene a bunch. I love it for all the reasons you do, him being worried and rushing to take care of her, but it's also got my favourite underrated touch. Him squeezing her calf just makes me giggle.

Yeah he didn't need to do that and yet...

I mean I'm sure he was solely focused on making sure that she was alright but yeah it was pretty unnecessary. I think it was just mostly Norman acting naturally around Emily, which is part of what makes them so fantastic. All of it was so natural and organic and came from their amazing chemistry.

Sure he was...

But in all honesty I agree. And I love that about them. It was so great to see.

I don't think any other network got as lucky as amc right out of the gate. It's no wonder they've never come close to anything as successful since.
BB was pretty close to moving before S5 from I've read

I think Mad Men was going to move too, since the showrunner definitely had some issues with them after S4.

Plus Mad Men was only on the AMC to begin with because HBO didn't want the show.

What a mess. Thank goodness Mad Men and Breaking Bad were able to make it out at the top of their games and while they were still held in high esteem. Especially something like BB where the ratings were still growing, I'm sure if amc had their way they'd have pushed it for another 5-10 years. It's honestly really sad what amc has done to the walking dead. You don't have to be a genius to know it's a shell of everything it once was. Even kirkman realized you can't prolong the inevitable with the comics.

I mean I don't think he was trying to cop a feel when she could have been hurt.

All the touching, Emily and Norman associating love songs with Beth/Daryl, Norman talking about giving Emily a "little turtle love note". I love how much Norman and Emily wanted Beth and Daryl to be together leaks outside of the show.

I'm always going to wish that HBO would have picked up the show instead, since it would have been so much better if it did

I think about that too sometimes. But even just amc not being disgustingly cheap would have been gigantic. Like even if they had kept darabont? So many what ifs.

Very true

HBO definitely wouldn't have fired Darabont to save money for example

No doubt hbo would have done a better job but amc can obviously find good shows too they just don't give a **** after that unfortunately.
