I think the only thing the promo has showed us is that the first episode maybe a few episodes in are very Mara heavy. But it will be interesting to see how Audrey comes back.

The season is 26 episodes!! It's basically going to be a 5A premiere and 5A finale then 5B premiere 5B finale. So really its basically like 2 seasons.

I seriously can't get over how awesome the promo is! It's probably for the first 3 or 4 episodes we've gotten glimpses of. I'm very intrigued by Mara. I'm totally feeling Nathan/Mara ( I blame Lucas/Emily's AMAZING chemistry) But I can't wait for Audrey to come back and she will be back because we have some pics that keep disappearing with Emily blonde.

I get the feeling as much as Mara in the promo is being like she's Mara she will remember at least Audrey and that should make things even more interesting!!! OMG I can't wait till September 11th

They haven't said yet when it will air. The writers have said that they think the wait won't be as long as it usually is.

No, she's more brunette. In the pics I'm talking about Emily is blonde like Audrey was in S1-S3.

As for Mara.. I thought I read somewhere that she wouldn't be sticking around very long.

From the promo it seem Nathan is the only one refusing to give up... I bet he's the one to bring Audrey to the surface.

I think the fact that is very telling that Nathan wouldn't give up on Audrey, compared to her friends. Not that I'm blaming them or anything. But I do wonder if they will feel some type of guilt that they didn't try to do more, when Audrey does come back or feel guilty about their actions. I mean from the promo it seems like Dwight tries to shoot Mara. I don't remember seeing a lot of Duke.

It's very telling that Nathan is the only believing that Audrey is inside Mara. It shows his steadfast belief in her and of course his love for her. I definitely think he's going to bring Audrey back out no matter how much Mara doesn't want it. It's going to get really interesting. Dwight looks to be cornering Mara in the woods when he has the gun on her, but Mara gets the upper hand. There wasn't a lot of Duke no and its probably because he's still fighting for his life. Will be interesting to see what happens with all of them.

Mara will be around for a bit it seems.

Poor Duke .... they chopped off his "pirate" hair! LOL

Not sure how Audrey comes back but for some reason I keeping think about when Willow on BTVS went all EVIL and Zander kept telling her he loved her. Even after she kept hurting him, and almost killed him.. yet he kept saying he loved her until she broke down and returned to normal. I know it's obviously a whole different situation but...

In the promo we see that Nathan won't give up on her.. even after Mara tells him she "snuffed Audrey out like a candle". Everyone it seems has given up on her, but he hasn't and that might scare her. In the promo pic she's pointing a gun at his back and then in the promo we see him get shot.

If she's gunning for him, maybe it because his love for Audrey is dangerous and she knows if he keeps reaching out, that eventually Audrey will resurface. So at first she tries to squash his hope but when that doesn't work she tries to kill him.

it's just a guess of course... but I think it would be awesome if he stands in front of her and tells her that he loves her and she threatens to shoot him and says it again... and she shoots him. But he keeps saying he loves her... again.. and again.. and then Audrey fights to the surface to save him.

Personally I think Mara wants Nathan and the others to suffer. Which is probably why she hasn't kill them yet. I mean she did have a gun to Nathan's head or something.
