 just watched the series finale  great ending for the X-files. Love all the M&S scenes.Did you listen to Kim Manner's comment (esp in the last scene)?? EDIT: I just noticed it's in the opening post __________________

I actually found the Truth a little disappointing. It just seemed like a clip show to me, except for the ending (they finally got CGB!! After how many attempts??
 ) Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of great scenes, especially all the MSR ones and I loved that Kersh turned out to be a good guy in the end, but I thought they could have done it a little better.__________________

What I've always loved about the show was that it's complex and intelligent/intellectual but The Truth is kinda too simple. But I guess, they did their best to resolve so many things, many of the things that went wrong in the last 2 seasons

That's why they have to make the third movie! They have to finish the invasion storyline, and maybe bring some closure to the William line as well.

I actually meant that it was a good ending concerning the last two seasons which weren't good at all
At least I wasn't crying or so (like when Gilmore Girls ended  ) but maybe that's because I've already seen the movie  Quote:

I love M&S in the Truth though I would want more, but I´m happy with all we get in the episode.

I love all the scenes with MS in The Truth too, though there is that one scene that I didn'tl like much, it's the one when he refuses to tell her what he saw/found. I wished Scully would have slapped him there

I know! After all of the times that he tried to convince of her the truth, here she is willing to listen to whatever he has to say, and he refuses to tell her! Goodness! He can be so frustrating sometimes! But oh well.

 because M&S shouldn't be on page 3  Overall I liked "the truth" even though it seemed rushed however I'm still sad about William (still can't bring myself to watch that episode in its entirety) and basically all of season 9 imho I would have been ok with XF ending on S8 I really liked season 8 even more so than 7 Doggett and Reyes where a nice change and I liked the Scully-Doggett-Reyes dynamic plus that whole super-soldier story line was defs not their best  __________________
