Unfortunately, I believe Dan's always had a bitter streak a mile wide making him capable of this crap. I just hoped he'd spare S after everything she's been through & how much she loves the douche. But alas no. His venom has no discriminations. And the fact he publicly humiliated her again, and after nailing her and promising her this was their final shot of happiness...Dan needs to be wailed on with a bag of oranges. Not one word he said was the truth which makes him a bigger fool. S never went looking for love elsewhere (you'd think the newest manwhore would know this) but out of sheer loneliness, and trusting nature she's always searching for acceptance and comfort. The only man shes ever loved (who taught her to believe in love & cheats on everyone else to be with) is the undeserving bastard who thinks if he doesn't lord his mighty power over her then he'll be a cuckold like dear ol' whipped dad. Hate to break it to him but he's so less of a man for this abusive power play. I used to say Dan was the only guy not to take advantage of her, and use her. Screw you, Dan Humphrey for ruining that belief! I'd love to say she's deserves better and should tell him to **** off, but she won't because she loves him and she'll forgive him (and sadly S actually doesn't believe she should be treated better). And in the end Dan and Serena still make a kind of sense that only they get. But my opinion is forever altered about what kind of man Dan Humphrey is - which saddens me greatly.
