Phoenix having custodial rights in CA just means she can make medical, education decisions etc for Abel. As in she is his caregiver. The next step would be a full adoption which Tara has not done yet. If Wendy signed off on a full adoption it would severe all her rights to Abel. So as it stands Wendy can go to court to get Abel back.

Tara- Our girl is very fragile right now. She's close to going 'round the bend. As painful as it was, I love when Tara's placid exterior melts away and the chaos lurking in her depths surfaces. Also, loved the way Jax climbed into bed with her.

Clay-has lost everybody, even Gemma, Unser, and Tig, who love him the most. And wait, did Unser just become my hero??

Opie- Oh my poor Ope! Never catches a break. Ryan Hurst crying over his dead loved ones makes my whole body ache.

Gemma-I have no idea where Gemma's head is, but at the end of this episode she is holding A LOT of secrets, i.e. Wendy, Tara's job offer, why Tara freaked out, the letters, Piney's death, JT's death, and Clay's designs on Tara. Other people know some of them, but she's the only one who knows all of them. Since she's our wild card, anything could happen.

ETA- And can I just add, that maybe tattooed bikers wearing hoodies, sunglasses, and sneakers shouldn't fire rocket launchers. It makes them look a little silly.

I'm glad Gemma didn't tell Jax the real reason Tara freaked out. I mean I want him to know but I think right now is not a good time for him to know. You know? Plus part of me wants Tara to tell him and we get him reassuring her everything is alright and Abel is HER SON. etc
