I know. It's so sad to see, and nobody on the show seems to understand her pain.

One of the writer was even acting like she was the villain. She's not. She is scared and lost.

I hope they show more of this when she comes back, which is why I would love a grave scene with Izzie letting George know all she is feeling. She is so good at ignoring ehr feelings, like George was, and it is bound to explose if she doesn't confide about it to someone.

Even if he is dead, I still think talking to George and feeling his presence around her will help her the most.

They have a connection that transcends death, IMO.

Aww, I really hoped we had had George and Izzie spent New year's eve together on the show and have them share a New year's kiss.

I didn't start watching Greys Anatomy until it had been on the air for several years. I thought it was going to just be another show about doctors. When I finally did check out S1 on DVD I was blown away. It is now one of my favorite shows. The first thing I ever learned about GA is Gizzie. Several of my online friends raved about them and would post quotes and photos of them. I became a Gizzie supporter before my first episode. Now after watching at least four seasons of it on DVD I am still in love with that ship. It is really sad that the writers tore them apart and even sadder that they actually killed George.

I know... George's death is just devastating... not only for Izzie, but for us fans. No more G/I.

I agree about Gizzie. Seeing them break up and then almost have no scenes was heartbreaking. George's death was even more heartbreaking, although we did get a stunningly beautiful Gizzie scene out of it.
