Something incredible and usual happen in "Canari song", Did Lightman almost said something good about Eli?

On minute 40 of this video, Cal tells Gillian that Eli earned his stripes. Wow!

Remember when Ria tried a physical approach to Cal Lightman in the episode with her half sister, Ria was drunk.
In this "Canary song" epi, when we see Gillian's physical approach to Cal, she obviously drink more than 1 scotch.

I don't blame at all Ria and Gilian to take a drink sometimes, but I notice something, do both of them need to be half drunk to physically approach Call?

When Ria and Eli finally sleep together (as in title here ), they were not drunk. They drink a little, of course, they were in a bar, they were a little with alcool influence, but not drunk. It doesn't mean the same impact for me to see that.

I recognize Kelly Williams is an excellent actress to play an hald drunk Gillian, good actress performance! I like Kelly Williams as an actress and her character of Gilian is interesting, but I doubt to believe if Gilian would go on Lightman without scotch influence.


About Ria and Eli, hum... I'm disapointed to see how their relation have change so much now. It look like their frienship has disapear. What do you think about it?

I was so happy that Eli finally got some credit out of Lightman!

He was really good in the epi, though we need more Reli!!

I make a little editing today November 22 because I just decide to go on other Lie to Me forum and I deleate my last friday post as "Sonia_rod". Finally, I suppose 99,9% of wiewers probably didn't even notice my name in this video, and they don't care if I'm the mother of Brendan Hines or not. I wanted to make it clear about it, but after all, if I dont talk about it, most people will continue to don't notice and I will probably have no problems about it in LTM forum.

I think you saw "Fold Equity" Eliza. I had like this one too. And I remember how I was surprise when I saw it the first time You will see "Sweet sixteen in 3 weeks, all the epi are listed here.

We saw a little more Ria and Eli in "Sweet sixteen". Ria obviously care about Eli, we can see that in her reacts about him.


This week in French here in Canada, I saw the translation of "The Whole Truth" and I like it. It was one of my favorites epi. Ria and Eli had a conversation together about an experience Ria made when she was 19, and Eli was not sure what to think about it. Also Cal and Zoe have a very changing relation together. It's ... hum... special.


All that are not spoilers for the ones who saw the original in English, but for the ones who didn't see and don't know what they talk about in this epi, do you prefer I don't write about? Because it was special and and I would like to discuss about it if someones are interested too.



Btw, in case you haven't see recent pictures in Tim Roth twitter, there is 2 good ones of Brendan and Monica. I'm happy Tim specify "Today I am mostly working with....Brendan....and.... Kelly." I hope it means we will see more scenes will Loker in the epi they're working on.

I'm really liking the new seasons because ELi actually has its own place in it.

And yay for Reli! RÃ*a was really worried when he showed up all wounded!
Hope there's more of them soon!

I haven't watched Lie to Me in a WHILE. But are there actually GOOD Loker/Ria scenes in the new episode this week? What has been going on with them in the new episodes? Anything at all?

Nop, not much Reli all in all, but I am glad that they are developing Eli's character. I think it's natural that after her basically saying her career was first and wasn't going to go all in for them, tptb are giving them space.

The stories have been far better, and Annette O'Toole rocked my screen yesterday! So I can't complain much.

I just hope that they will get back to Reli soon

They are semi-developing Eli's character... he shows up just as much as he used to last season. They are just giving some little content to him now... But nothing too deep..

I think this season is AWFUL, so boring that I can hardly stay awake watching the episodes... really boring, a major yawner...Cal is sooooo obnoxious that I can hardly stand...

I don't actually watch anymore.

I think the show's biggest problem is that they give ALL the screen time/storylines to only Cal. While other characters are basically neglected.
