I was hooked instantly but never thought we would get it although I hoped for it. I remember being so excited if they were to just say each others names..

I was looking through some of the older DB threads on my subscription list and reading back on my previous posts just makes me glad that we got more than we thought we would with these two:here I was glad if they would even just look at each other

and here I was so happy to see him standing next to her.

No one..haha, I don't think the writers even knew. But it's hard to avoid uniting a couple when they had chemistry like Leighton and Penn did.

True, plus it was obvious that their characters actually had a lot in common once you got past the class difference, once they started spending time together it was obvious that they were going to figure that out

Very true..once both of them stopped judging each other, they realized that they had so much in common and willingly wanted to spend time together. Though, Blair was always going to Dan for help with some of her schemes. Kinda makes you think if she liked his company longer than one would think.
