I really enjoyed their scenes tonight. It really liked like their were going to share a moment before the walkers broke it.

Yeah I loved their scenes tonight and it looks like they were getting super close to maybe a kiss? I just heard on the talking dead that Lauren Cohan said that Maggie would approve of Daryl/Beth

Exactly after Darryl said "you know" is when they should have kissed but alas the writers want a slow burn!

It's not just the writers but Norman has said he wants Daryl to have a slow burn romance and I think the writers are listening.

Just saw the episode.

Daryl sitting alone on the road, looking completely defeated just about broke my heart.. As for the Daryl/Beth stuff, it really seems like Daryl is magnetized by her. Her lightness, her innocence. It's kind of funny how the we all see Daryl as this hot bad-ass, but in reality, you can tell that he longs for familiarity and some sort of human connection with another (having never had it growing up).. it was kind of ironic (though completely on point, IMO) how awkward he was around Beth while she was the opposite. Beth seems to represent what he's been devoid and deprived of his entire life.

I felt so bad for him and damn those writers for taking away daryl's "Light" which was Beth. I swear that guy can't be happy for even one episode. I agree he seemed to have missed that while growing up and now someone "Beth" is showing him that he does deserve to feel another human connection. I love the awkwardness with Daryl because that goes along with what NR wants for his character. I know he said it in one of his interviews.

I've never seen that interview, but that's great to hear! Another thing I wanted to mention was how much touching there was between them (the hand holding scene aside). Daryl tending to her ankle, carrying her, touching her shoulder, etc.

He really is attracted to her. Even if it's not romantic, it's quite refreshing and something we've never really seen with Daryl's character.

Yeah he did that was a lot of running and felt bad for him when he just gave up and sat down.

I think we will see Beth with whoever kidnapped her, while Daryl continues to search for her. I don't think we'll see them reunited with each other or have Beth with the group. I do think Daryl reunites with Rick's group though.

Wow, I didn't even realize the road diverged. Poor Daryl and poor Beth.

Anyone else think Emily/Beth would look great with shorter hair? She's already a pretty girl, but maybe it would make her look a bit older?
