Just wanted to pay homage to my beautiful babies, Daniel/Betty today because I was feeling nostalgic about the show.

In watching so many shows in so many years, I've been disappointed somehow or another in my ships but DB have never ever let me down. They had the most beautiful, organic, heartbreakingly beautiful growth I have ever seen and that's saying a lot. They didn't get each other at first but then stumbled into this deep friendship/connection and became so important to each others' lives.

Through each other, they learned that they weren't as flawed as they thought. He wasn't just the shallow playboy that was a epic failure in his father's eyes that he always thought and she was shy and completely awkward but through her own actions and his encouragement, blossomed into a confident woman who could kick serious ***.

And they're one of the rare ships that I could see them being good friends forever or even getting involved romantically and neither option would ever disappoint me because I was just so pleased with how they were fleshed out in the first place.

Just perfection.
