Agree. Stefan and Damon could've had a relationship like Sam and Dean. But TVD got stuck with idiots for writers and that golden opportunity was missed. Instead they made Damon like the worst brother ever. And now it's too late. Too much damage has been done. I was actually rooting for Damon to just stay dead because Stefan would be better off without him. They have wasted Ian and Paul's chemistry and as you said the potential for an epic brother relationship. This is why Delena is doubly crap. But that's for another thread. It's too bad they decided somewhere along the way that the brother relationship just wasn't important and just utterly destroyed it. It could've been something beautiful but it's too late now. It's too late for me to "ship" them too.
