Quinn does kidnap Carrie, but maybe to save her. Are we thinking that her name ends up in his box and he intervenes? That's kind of what it seems like. Although awkwardly.... is it Saul that puts it there??????? Surely not :eek:

I can't for those scenes that they have together. Though I'm guessing he will be detached and all business. I reckon from the other promo scenes we've seen, that she will be the one who brings up 'them.' (I tried to find you, I never stopped thinking about you)

And thinking about it... it will be on Quinn to protect her. As if that's not gonna stir up old feelings.... The more I hear about this new season, The more I love it.

Ugh, I can't stand Saul. Everytime I hear Mandy says that Saul is trying to make this world a better place, I just roll my eyes. No one's used and manipulated Carrie more than Saul. I guess that's his definition of tough love. Dar Adal is much more interesting character. He's shady and ruthless but at least he doesn't pretend he's one of the 'good guys'. I wouldn't be surprised if Saul put her on that list. Does he even care anymore? "She's always been on her own", right? :rolleyes: I hate that Quinn is working for him.

I can't wait for 'I tried to find you' scene. I want him to know she wanted to give them a chance.

Desire to save Carrie was always Quinn's motivation for most of his actions. That will never change. And I was thinking the same, every promo gets me more and more excited about this season, and not only because of CQ, but in general. New surroundings, new characters, I just love spy sht. :P

Doesn't really tell us much we don't already know. However, I have to wonder.... if Carrie is snorting drugs and still drinking heavily, is she really as settled as everyone would have us believe? As Quinn says, cracks are starting to show...I really don't think this thing with Jonas will last two seconds :cool:

Looks like paranoia is taking over her life, she's losing her mind again. It's justified if someone is actually after her but I can't believe she would go back to old habits like her heavy drinking. Not now, when she has Franny and someone by her side. Maybe she's doing drugs because she wants to stay awake.

I'm not even worry about Jonas, seems like he's just there. :lol:

Btw, he's a readhead. Really, Carrie? Could you be more obvious?

two year time gap will alter the C/Q dynamic?

There's a lot of debate going on about this on a blog I go on.

What is frustrating me is that perhaps the two year time gap effectively may reset their relationship. Carrie has a new man, a new life and Quinn is cold and detached.

Though at the same time I wonder why they would spend more than a season building up this relationship between Carrie and Quinn, two main characters, only to drop it straightaway. Surely they won't do that? It's just rubbish writing and story building and completely abandons both characters. And why do it in the finale?! It was arguably the biggest story point left hanging at the end of Season Four, surely they aren't expecting their audience to just forget that two main characters hooked up.

God this is torture. Rant over. Lolol

To be honest, there are so many theories, I'm not even sure how their first meeting after two years will go. From what I saw and read, it looks like Quinn has a box with a list of people he has to kill, he finds Carrie name on that list, he tells her about it, they probably go into hiding (she wears a wig, that basement/tunnel looks like their hideout).

And about their dynamic... I don't know. They need to resolve Quinn's feelings. Maybe two years are enough for him to fall out of love with her. But these feelings didn't just go away when he decided to go to Islamabad, so I doubt he just got over her now. I enjoyed their UST, but can they just keep having that tension for years without nothing happening? I don't wanna see his unrequited love toward her anymore. Something needs to happen that will end it, one way or another. I'll be happy either way because their friendship is interesting enough. They have a beautiful connection.

We're finally gonna get some answers this Sunday although I don't think Carrie and Quinn are gonna meet in 5x01.

ETA: So, I've already seen the premiere and I loved it! Most of the things were in the promos. :lol: Carrie and Quinn didn't meet yet.

At first, I really didn't like Quinn in this scene. He is so detached and cold - obviously what we've seen of him in the last few episodes. Not great.

But then when he sees that Carrie is starting to panic and he holds her face...god, I really can't cope. And how he says, 'Carrie...' as well. Swoon. And then they cut the scene... as if they know that's what everyone has been waiting to see... Sigh.

He really upsets me at first and then when he kneels down and puts his hands on her face, I'm just like :sigh::sigh:
