embarrassment: You do make some good points about it being viable and I do think the writing is good. I personally do enjoy your stories and don't have any problems with it. Everything you said about the setting of the story and the character dynamics makes sense.

However, I do take issue with some of your other posts. It might seem like I am overreacting but I have a long history with dealing with this from a certain group of posters especially the same male ones from the Creddie Fans Forum so I know how far this attitude goes and what the commentary can turn into-

Please refrain from the anti-Carly sentiment permeating this thread. I already issued a warning against this on a previous thread here because I don't want that toxic viewpoint infecting the threads here in the way it has on Creddie Fans Forum in which a disclaimer by the mods was also issued against it since it was getting out of control. There is criticism versus a extreme negative attitude that takes it too far and I am already aware of the extent of this attitude from some people since I am on Creddie Fans also. There will be no tolerance of this misogynistic and biased attitude where Carly is misportrayed as being undeserving/unworthy while Freddie gets depicted as this perfect victim by his male fans.

I hope I don't have to re-post that disclaimer here. She is not responsible for Sam's bullying and Freddie being a doormat. She has also reacted at times to it. The bullying would be out of control if not for her. Not to mention, Spencer, Mrs.Benson, and the school has not reacted to it realistically either due to the show's constraints of it being a comedy. I also disagree that Freddie does not do or say anything about it. He has reacted to Sam many times and has even recently called her out on it. Freddie is not a completely submissive character and he is a stronger guy than that. Give him more credit, please.

Claiming that Carly doesn't care about Freddie outside of the webshow and is one disappointment after another is too harsh and kind of uncalled for which is not even completely accurate. That is not only undermining their romantic potential but also their friendship which is very anti-Creddie. Claiming that there is no honesty, loyalty, and respect, trust, and support with the tv versions is also out of line and not true. This is also being borderline anti-Creddie in its sentiment. Yes, your stories are an improvement of their dynamic which tends to be the case with fanfiction in which some issues are corrected but they are not as horrible on the show as you are painting it.

You thought Kyle was showing restraint and being polite?! Carly was called out and he was quite cold about it when she was just trying to impress him. I thought he handled it a like a jerk. Yes, Carly has flaws but she always pays for her mistakes. She is a teenage girl and sometimes can be silly around guys she is crushing on and not handle it properly. The same logic can be applied to Freddie, Spencer, and Sam too at certain times with how they dealt with people they liked.

Great one-shot! I liked how you incorporated continuity with Freddie's comment about asking if it was too late for her to love him. Everything was wrapped up nicely. I liked how you realistically address this from Carly's POV. It was great that you set it during a Halfoween party. I like all of the callbacks to recent episodes. The buildup to the kiss was so sweet. It would have been amazing if it played out on the show like this! I like how you addressed how Carly should have felt about his feud with Sam during iPS. I like the touch at the end with Sam and Gibby with their reactions.
