I just find it weird how all the "good guys" turn out to be bad, possessive boyfriends but then the womanizers who sleep around always end up being the sweet and caring good boyfriends.

I agree. I also listened to the shipping room podcast and they talked about the good guy problem and Ted and I think Ross where on their list. I would add Dean as well. He had anger issues, as well as being possessive of Rory.

I loved how Barney and Robin were never jealous (when they were together) and let their partner have space.
