Hey guys, I haven't stopped in here for awhile...I've been watching the soapnet eps again...and just finished S1 on DVD....I do love how in 'Spring Dance', when Kelly asks Brandon if he didn't know her so well (back when he saw her as a sister), if it would be different between them, and him saying 'I'd probably be in love with you.'...flash forward to 4 years. I thought Kelly was the most mature (at least somewhat). whenever she was with Brandon.

At least, she was the happiest. Though, I didn't watch 90210 regularly since S5, so I'm not completely sure, but I've got that impression. Except for that cheating thing, that was low, but I suppose that storyline would not have been written if Jason hadn't announced his departure.

Yes, I do.
Actually, I never cared much for characters of Kelly and Brandon, but always thought they would make a cute couple. And they did. Unfortunately, they hooked up at the time when I got really tired od the show, and direction that their relationship took annoyed me. The writers had to include Dylan and make another triangle which incredibly bored me, why they just couldn't let K&B on their own? What, happy couples are not interesting? Whatever...

Later, I watched occasionally, but they seemed really happy and sweet to me.

And with Jason's departure, show completely lost sense.

They really shouldn't of, it was one thing that I hated most. I mean the David/Donna wedding was so sweet but the show was centered around the Walsh family, it always was. Once Brandon left it was pointless.

The only thing I found good about the final 2 seasons without Brandon...was Steve (since I adored him, and Valerie had also left), and David/Donna coming back together.

i liked valerie/david, donna/david, and kelly/brandon.

i havent seen the show in so long, so maybe my opinion has changed if i watched it again, but kelly and brandon were always my favorite and i was disappointed they didnt end up together.

its not really fair when characters leave because they change who ends up with who on the finale... ya know?

I agree about your last statment....just because a certain character leaves, the writers just settling and having the other character automatically end up with the person remaining. I don't like that either.
