i don't think he's even ever told her he loved her. he came close to it once and one time when she told him she loved him he said me too but overall he never once even when he was preaching about them being soulmates, said those words to her.

^ Yeah, the picture is from her almost-wedding from the episode, "The Wedding;" where unfortunately she and Brandon call it off at the last minute.

It's from the season 8 finale. It's kind of complicated to explain if they were really together or not after they called of their weddng because they had a one night stand the night they called off.

They then decided to call of their relationship for good but then hooked up again and spent some more time together while they debated whether or not they made the right choice on calling it off. After Kelly broke down while missing her wedding and wanting to do it again; Brandon won an auction to go out with her. On the date, they both agreed that not getting married was the right thing to do and decided to move on.

While Brandon went to New York; Kelly moved on with going into business with Donna by opening their own store and becoming friends with Matt. Brandon meets Matt, gets upset that Kelly moved on so quickly and that she never mentioned him to Matt and decides not to leave because he's afraid to leave Beverly Hills since it's his home and doesn't want to let Kelly go. Though at the beach, he decides to move and accept the job offer, spends one last night at the beach with Kelly where he skinny dips, says goodbye to everyone at a going away party and drives away with David saying a goodbye speech to him over the radio.

Sorry. I know you only asked a simple question and didn't ask for a essay, lol but I decided to give you the full story leading to Brandon's departure since I assumed, you didn't really know about that.

Thanks a lot for the "essay" cartiergurl01 I didn't know all that!!!!!! And I was always wondering how he left and especially how he left kelly. I saw a lot of the first few and last seasons but I missed that part.
