Book Romances: B/c love can be the unspoken word!

Everywhere we look there is a ship.

Does anyone have any book ships?

Try and mention the book, so we can read it, and enjoy in the ship!

One of mine is...

Kimberly and Aileron in "The Summer Tree"

Nothing romantically happens, but they were good friends. She saw the good in him, and he was always there to help her. He even killed to protect her. AWWW

Sorry, if we already have this. My bad, then.

As an avid reader, I think this is a most excellent topic.

Lots and lots of great romances in books. I need to think of a couple of my favourites. Anne and Gilbert of the Anne of Green Gables series is just one out of many favourites.

I love Anne and Gilbert as well, especially in Anne of the Island.

One of my favorite newer couples is Marcus and Jess from the books Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings. I thought they were really cute, and very well written books.

I just finished reading The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and I'm really liking Lena/Kostos, and Bridget/Eric right now.

Awesome topic!

I really love Anne/Gilbert too

I also love the Love stories series like the boy next door

and this is my very favorite book, The day I met him.

Here's a summary

Lilly Cameron is having a great time cruising around town in her father's car - until she crashes. When Charlie Roark arrives with his tow truck, they hate each other. But they quickly realize they need one another: he'll fix the car for free if she'll pretend to be his girlfriend.

My favorite book ship of all time is Rhett/Scarlett from Gone with the Wind. Absolutely, hands-down. So passionate and fiery, and their story is really very tragic, however, in some ways, redemptive.

I also love Ed/Gaia from my schoolgirl Fearless obsession.

Ooh, Anne/Gilbert for me as well.

Alex and Rose in A Little Lovesong. It's set during WW2. He's recovering from a mental breakdown, she's finding her maturity and self. I just love them, they're adorable together.

Christopher "Kip" Russell and Patricia Wynant "Peewee" Reisfield in "Have Space Suit, Will Travel" by Robert Heinlein. The book was published in 1958, plus Kip was eighteen and Peewee was twelve, so the description of their relationship at the end of the book was limited to

"Peewee is fond of you."
"Uh, I hope so."
"And you? Or am I impertinent?"
"Am I fond of Peewee? I sure am. She saved my life twice."

And no hint at all about what did or did not happen ten years later.

I was a major slasher when it comes to LOTR a long time before I even knew there were going to be movies made from the books. Sam/Frodo is one of my earlierst favourites when it comes to slash pairings.
