I'm not saying Tyler is perfect but to listen to this fandom he emotionally and physically abuses Caroline on a daily basis which is the fartherst thing from the truth. Does Tyler always treat Caroline great no but then again that street goes both ways there have been plently of times she has been hostile or rude torwards him yet no one ever says Caroline is so mean to Tyler. Tyler has sacrificed for her, loves her, treats her like a person and adores her I don't know what else they want from him. The other guys do things that aren't so wonderful yet to hear Tyler is the most horrible out all of them

gonna share a post I posted on another tvd-forum. it just fits for our discussion on here. it's a bit of a summary of the tc-lovestory.

It was clear from the start, that Tyler fell in love with Caroline the moment she CHOSE to care for him. And he was head over heels, because no one had cared for him like this before. "I thought you hated me. I thought you deserved better than having someone like me in your life". whenever i rewatch this scene it breaks my heart. the chemistry, the acting, it's so believable and beautiful.
If they were just physically attracted to each other they would have jumped each other earlier. He always lets Caroline make the decisions. He didn't make a move until it was crystal clear. He then came out (as a werewolf) to his mother to save Caroline and teamed up with Liz (see, Tyler didn't have to manipulate Liz to gain her trust) to get her back. I love how he comforts Caroline and understands her so good. What really shocked me is the "everything I like about me is you"-quote. that's the overwhelming part I spoke of earlier. He thinks that low of himself and feels worthless without her. and it breaks my heart if i read that people think he is selfish or that he doesn't really love Caroline. He later on proves this again, when he goes off to break the sirebond (which means breaking every bone in his body!!! which means the worst pain imaginable) for the girl he loves. or by saying he would gladly accept to die if Klaus wasn't the one who created Caroline's bloodline. or by letting Bonnie do a spell that would let Klaus possess his body (and thus saving Caroline).

I think you are right about that. The haters can't come up with anything else so they just keep throwing out the same false argument. I mean even looking at it logically Forwood's had what four or five sex scenes in the entirety of the series? Compared to some tv shows that's barely having any sex at all. The "all they do is have sex" argument is just nothing. It doesn't hold up at all.
Also I love that forwood lovestory summary post. It's such a great way to tell their story. And it's all so true. I don't get how you could watch their story un fold over the course of the series and not love them, but actually hate them. It's an amazing love story. I have to say I understand the hate towards Forwood about as much as I understand the love and shipping of Klaroline. Which is not at all.

OMG, this is so predictable it’s not even funny.

I called since I knew about the new bitch in town, and that psycho killer would try to find new methods to keep TC apart. All I can say is SERIOUSLY? If Tyler didn’t talk about her to Caroline, that proves how important she was to him. Tyler has always been all over Caroline, but clearly this new figure will make Caroline very much jealous and insecure, ‘cause you don’t wanna share the guy you love with ANYONE. And Klaus obviously learns about their past and make drawings about it LMAO It’s just so predictable it’s not even funny. Seriously, how many bitches and psychos my bbs need to face in order to have a little bit of peace? All I can do is laugh, really, 'cause Klaus is doing everything to make his little game continue, using a girl, I feel she's not stupid to be used, but anyway, she's gonna create problems 'cause Caroline is INSECURE a lot as a person, who's this bitch? What did she share with Tyler? I'm sure she didn't share anything except the obvious werewolf stuff, but still... she's a presence that shouldn't be there, and Klaus will ply mind games with Caroline and play with her insecurity, with how bad Tyler is, and blah, blah, blah. Let's just kill Klaus! But seriously, I'm not mad, I laugh 'cause I saw this movie even before JP talked about it.

I don't really buy that this Hayley girl could really cause all that much trouble for Forwood no matter what JP says. Tyler loves Caroline and only Caroline. And she knows that. I mean he broke every bone in his body over a hundred times for her. Yes, Caroline has always been insecure, but she's gotten way better at that. And she doesn't have to be with Tyler because he's proven how much he loves her. And if he did agree to allowing Klaus to take over his body to protect Caroline, it's going to strengthen them even more. Random girl is nothing next to Caroline. And her and Tyler both being werewolves isn;t even a big deal either, because that's not a part of Tyler that he hugely relates to anymore. Now that he's a hybrid, he doesn't have to turn anymore and he's not ruled by the moon. Anyway I'm still perplexed as to when he even met this girl. Was it when he left with Jules? Because I find it hard to believe that when he was in the Appalachian mountains torturing himself for Caroline that he also found the time to form a relationship with a random werewolf girl. Also to tarnish that time by throwing another girl into the mix would be so very uncool. I really hope that JP is not doing that. How long is Hayley even hanging around, I really hope she's not here to stay. Phoebe Tonkin is a good actress, but her character is just the last thing we need right now or ever for that matter. Speaking of stupid crap. Is Klaus's story really now finding ways to mess with Forwood since he can't use Elena's doppleganger-ness anymore? Because that's ridiculous and not a good enough reason to have kept him around. Also it's pathetic. He started out as like the biggest bad of them all and now he's turned into some love sick puppy who is going to use all of his evil, monstrous powers to try and mess up two teenagers' relationship? Wow, great writing there JP. I am so ready for him to die already.

They want to tease us about this girl, about who she is, about what kind of bond she may have had with Tyler back then, but I'm sure she's really just a friend, someone he met when he left with Jules. I'm sure he didn't meet anyone when he was breaking his sire bond, let alone a werewolf. I'm sure it's Klaus that's gonna make more of a deal of her, than who exactly is. Yes, I do think Caroline will be jealous, though, yes. And not insecure about Tyler's feelings for her, but about what he may have shared with Hayley when he wasn't with her yet. Yes, i think Caroline is a girl that may feel threatened by past, too.
