I like that scene too. I wish there had been more moments of them dealing with the cancer after Justin knew.

Yeah I would've like to have seen more of Justin taking care of Brian.

And Brian leaning on Justin, which we haven't ever seen much of on the show.

That would have been nice to watch. It would have been importan to understand how much their relationship evolved.

It would have been nice to see Brian leaning on someone instead of trying to be strong and and act like nothing big was going on. The cancer was a good chance for that but it lasted too short.

Lack of time, I guess. As usual. It sucks the last seasons had less episodes.

Or maybe the writers didn't want to make Brian look too weak. They seemed fixated on not making him appear too weak or soft.

Because the stories that followed weren't that good.
Like the guy who betrayed the foundation and Hollywood... I would've preferred more Brian-cancer...

I guess that was the reason.

Plus maybe the writers were not sure if it would still be IC to show Brian being weak and 'needy' and being taken care of by Justin.

We already had a weak and needy Brian in Season 1 and Season 3... not sure that's the reason.

When was Brian weak and needy then? *tries to remember*

Anyway going through the big c is a whole different kind of weak and needy

Plus even if Brian was weak and needy in previous seasons it wasn't the same as it was in S4 .In fact it was more often Brian taking care of Justin before (after dealing with Craig, after the bashing, during PP... )

Brian and Justin were at a different place in their relationship at that point in S4. they were practically partners so I guess it would have made sense to see more of Justin giving Brian some TLC

I don't know what was the point of having that guy that betrayed the foundation. I guess they included him to show Brian saving the situation, but I definitely think it would have been better to dedicate a little more time to the cancer instead.
