Speaking of timeline-

I know we've discussed it before but I recently rewatched the whole break up arc yet again (from mid-late S2 up until 308 ;) ) and I still can't figure out how long B/J were apart (at least in TV land time  )

SojournHeart11 05-30-2013 08:52 AM

I've always wanted to know. It feels like they were apart for a year. Maybe that's just B/J withdrawal.

I've always wanted to know too. I think it's not just us being curious, but the time they spent apart would be important to know also from a storyline point of view regarding Brian and Justin.

I don't think it was a whole year, maybe a few months? When they were separated, Justin had that trouble with tuition. Was it the start of a new year or still the first one? If it was still the first one, which he began while they were still together, I guess a few months should be right.

I tend to believe they were apart for a few months but it seemed longer because it was really angsty :(

SojournHeart11 05-30-2013 12:30 PM

They could have been apart for as long as 6-7 months, which is too darn long.

galesgirl645 05-30-2013 04:08 PM

I think it was just a few months

To me it didn't feel a long waiting though, maybe because I watched those episodes in a marathon so in reality for me the anst ended in a few hours

galesgirl645 05-31-2013 04:13 PM

^ that would help

exactly

I actually went throught it last night when I decided to rewatch eps 303 to 308 yet again :sigh:

but srsly- it wasn't easy, esp for Brian to deal with the break up even if it didn't last that long.

omg that 'A deal is a deal' scene :(

Manu9 06-02-2013 10:39 AM

That's such a great scene, I love everything about it, from their clothes, to the lights, to the words

galesgirl645 06-02-2013 03:22 PM

Glad Justin and Michael continued to work on the comic :)

WildRose 06-03-2013 06:37 AM

And how Justin used the same line (A deal is a deal ) but it obviously had a different meaning ;)

SojournHeart11 06-03-2013 07:48 AM

I guess in Justin's mind he thought since Brian kept his promise to continue paying for his schooling, he should keep his to work on Rage with Michael to utilize its full potential, and not doom the project because he had differences with Michael.

WildRose 06-03-2013 10:26 AM

True but with B/J there were still lots of emotions involved during the break up despite the fact both Brian and Justin were trying to hide it.
