I love the reunion scene. Every about it is perfect, from the lights to the scenery to the music.

Initially, the only thing that took away from the scene for me was the way it was shot. That wall kept getting in my way. I said to myself, "Wall, please get out of the way, I'm trying to see B/J reunite. I don't have time for this foolishness!"
Now I wouldn't change anything about the way it was shot, it just took me awhile to get over the fact that I couldn't explicitly see the whole scene the way I wanted. The setting, the music, the way it was shot with the interlacing shots of the hallway and Brian/Justin undressing was what made it soooooo romantic in my eyes. Not to mention, Brian looked really emotional. |

The way they shot the reunion scene was very romantic

What was so evident about that scene is that they missed each other so much. You could tell by the way their caressing and kissing each other.
Awww, this scene. |
I love how the whole 'pre reunion' convo has so many double meanings and cute innuendos ;) It seems as though Justin is trying to convince Brian to let him stay as an intern but he's actually means he wants to go back together ;)
It's a brilliant convo and I love the familliar B/J banter here (not to mention the mounting sexual tension ) My fav line is "It would be a pleasure to work under you, Sir" :D |
OMG :thud:, I absolutely love that line. It was so sweet, sexy, and provocative all at once. And the look on Justin's face as he said it.
It was very apparent that he was ready for Brian's body, once more. |
Well... it was more than obvious that both of them were ready because the build up towards that reunion was massive (I think it actually started in 306 in the bracelet scene... ) but once again I think this time it was more than sex. They were ready to be intimate again. They were ready to learn from thier mistakes and take their relationship a step further. That's what's the reunion scene is about, imo :sigh:
|
I agree though.
They were just ready for each other in every way: Mind, body, spirit, soul, etc., and they were apart for quite some time. They must have been out of their minds with happiness once they had finally gotten back together, I know I was. :sigh: |
I was too :sigh:
|
Same here :sigh:
In fact they were not 100% apart during the break up which pbbly wasn't easy ;) They saw each other almost every day down the street, at the diner and so on, not to mention Brian kept seeing Justin in his head (and while he was with tricks... ) and even tried to keep him closer when he offered him to create a poster for the carnival. |
It was cute how Brian kept finding ways to be around Justin ;)
|
I think in a way it meant Brian wasn't going to give up on Justin and that's why he wanted him around.
It's quite ironic though that later on in 308 when Justin searched for ways to be around Brian all the time he (Brian ) was sort of playing 'hard to get' ;) |
They weren't giving up on each other no time soon.
|
I think there was a point in late S2 Justin felt Brian had already given up on him. He even expected Brian to tell him he would go on loving him after he left but was disappointed when Brian didn't say anything.
In fact when Justin tells that to Brian in 308 he's almost about to leave again but then Brian stoppes him ;) |
