I can't stand how Brian's nephew accused him of molestation, and his family condemned him by default. I felt AWFUL for Brian when he was in his sister's house (I think), and they're just closing in on him with all these accusatory remarks and not even trying to hear his side. They really were hurting him.

galesgirl645 05-18-2013 04:35 PM

Oh yeah, that was horrible!

SojournHeart11 05-18-2013 05:21 PM

Yeah. His sister even called him a sick pervert and an S.O.B

Ouch!

WildRose 05-19-2013 06:26 AM

Brian is the ultimate dramatic hero during this whole arc. In fact his scenes with his mother and his sister are so well writen it's like watching a modern day greek tragedy or a Tenessy Williams play. Plus I really hate the way his nephew behave but I think that boy was a brilliant actor. I wonder who he was.

and omg, each time I rewatch Debbie looking at Brian's nephew saying "shame on you" and then turning to Clair and saying "But most of all shame on you" I still have chills. It's so intense, and sadly true.

SojournHeart11 05-19-2013 09:21 AM

You're right. It does put you in the mind of one of these Greek tragedies, or one of Tennessee's works.

WildRose 05-19-2013 09:27 AM

So sad to see that Brian's nephew (darn, forgot his name... ) was a thrid generation of haterade and ignorance :(

SojournHeart11 05-19-2013 09:32 AM

Yeah, Brian's nephew (I think Jon's his name), was sipping on too much of that haterade.
The actor who played Brian's nephew is definitely a good actor, because I hated that little twirp.

WildRose 05-19-2013 09:39 AM

oh, right, his name was John. Thanks :)

omg, that scene of him and Justin at the arcade...

SojournHeart11 05-19-2013 09:54 AM

That scene is actually hard to watch because John was being so nasty towards Justin. But Justin got him back by exposing the fact that he stole Brian's bracelet.. :D

galesgirl645 05-19-2013 03:47 PM

I love the scene where Justin returns the bracelet to Brian :sigh:

SojournHeart11 05-19-2013 04:05 PM

That scene is so filled with tension, the great kind. It's wonderful. :sigh:

Definitelly a highly charged scene :D

galesgirl645 05-20-2013 03:54 PM

I'm glad though that nothing happened because they weren't quite ready for that

SojournHeart11 05-20-2013 08:51 PM

I'm glad they waited too. It just made the build up, and finally the reunion all the more epic. :sigh:

WildRose 05-21-2013 12:35 AM

It's such a meaningful moment for them :sigh:

And I love the way Brian turns around at goes back to the loft at the end of that scene :thud:

Manu9 05-21-2013 03:35 PM

That was a great scene from beginning to end. Brian and Justin were always masters at giving each other charged looks ;)

galesgirl645 05-21-2013 04:08 PM

like the eye!sex during 3x07 :sigh: :thud:

WildRose 05-22-2013 04:58 AM

Okay, I'm officially speachles :thud: ;)

SojournHeart11 05-22-2013 08:15 AM

If I'm not mistaking, I believe they had eye sex in Brian's office when they were getting ready to make up too.

"You can start immediately", then Brian walks around the desk and they stare at each other. So sweet. :sigh:

WildRose 05-22-2013 11:27 AM

That was more of a forplay :smirk:

galesgirl645 05-22-2013 04:30 PM

I've always thought that was more about challenging each other.
