I think I would have liked to see Justin have more partners in S1. I really loved seeing him go after the guy in the museum and then Sean (Dream Boy) from KoB. That seemed more likely that Justin waiting around for Brian. Granted, Justin was enamored with Brian...and let's face it, they were great in bed together, but I can't imagine a boy (or girl) who had such an AH~Mazing first sexual encounter, not trying his newly realized sexuality with others. Obviously, he wasn't only a bottom. It would seem that since Brian didn't bottom (at the time), he'd definitely get it elsewhere.

*It's so easy to veer off, but let's try to keep the discussion to S1 in here.

Thats truth but Justin was quiet active in the backroom, I think, so he certainly did experiment just with not longterm partners.That was exclusive for Brian.

I want to make a comment but it relates to a later season about the bottoming and topping.

17 year old boys would want to have some kind of sexual contact often I would think. I've never been a 17 year old boy though to be sure

It did seem that Brian was sleeping with him a lot though and Justin even says at the KOB so now I'm just a backup plan like they had been doing it quite often and it was only the others comments about B and J being a couple that upset Brian that night and made him push him away I think. But then he realised when J went with Sean that he did actually want him more than maybe he thought and wanted to be with him again that night.

I agree it was other comments about them being couple that freaked him out but I think also he himself was afraid, the realisation that he started to be bonded to Justin more seriously was for him something difficult to deal with because of the fear of commitment, he was persuaded that he would not succeed in it or would be hurt etc.
Because after KOB he realised he reallly is attracted to and wants Justin, but this realisation also pushed him away and he grasped the first opportunity to escape it - move out to NYC. Maybe in subconscious level but I believe that was one of the reasons he wanted to move out, it was becoming for him too much. Anything the things were becoming more serious, Brian backed off.

I have no problem with later seasons being mentioned as long as they are behind spoiler tags. Do you know how to do that? Also...it's okay to talk openly about earlier seasons in later threads, just not later in earlier. Some might say that since the show ended so long ago, that it shouldn't matter, but just in case people are watching for the first time...I think it should be a surprise. What do you guys think?

I'll post this in the Fan Fiction thread later, but this is an interesting point. A friend/writer, wrote a series called Everything He Knows. Take a look because it shows everything B taught J, up to Sean. It's an excellent series and extremely HOT!!

No I don't know how to do a spoiler

Brian didn't know how to deal with his feelings at all and maybe him being 17 had something to do with it as well . I mean it's one thing to have sex with him but to develop feelings for a teenager still at school has to cause some deep thoughts I would think.

I think that when Brian saw Justin doing it with Sean, it awakened some jealousy within him. He looked pretty shocked by how much of a stud Justin could actually be. Brian realized he wasn't just this weak little boy who'd follow him around and not expect more than what Brian had been giving him, which is not enough recognition. Nobody likes being ignored, but that's what Brian had been doing all night and it came right back to him.

Yeah, Brian got a taste of his own medicine

And also realised that he both wanted Justin and that Justin could be his equal in every sense of word, which was really surprising for him, noone before achieved that.
