I think it's great RTD is finding new ways to get it to a more youthful audience, but we mustn't forget about the "original" cast members, even though original UK cast members are often overlooked. The UK edition was good, too, but not as lengthy. So I understand why he's giving his British counterparts a bit of much-needed push. Still, the thought of having a new version of the show boggles my mind a little. I'll with it, though.

Well yeah, that's why so many people were saying they wanted an update of what the ORIGINAL characters are doing NOW.  I'm kind of upset, but also kind of relieved. It's easy to mess with something that should be left alone. The original's a masterpiece. Best to let it lie. __________________

I'm so over wanting to appeal to a younger crowd. We already got enough shows that reflect the reality of being a millennial, we don't need another one. It all feels very patronizing... another reason I'm not into these reboots.

I loved that Scott spoke up about it. Calling it "OUR" version, as if the show belongs to not just the cast/crew, but also to the fans. Awww.
