Woohoo! It's been confirmed, Hal's movie 'lightning bug' will definitely be one of the indie films show here in Philadelphia at the film festival in April.

His name is Danny Devore (sp?) I forget the drag name. And nope...not a word has been said about him since then. I know a *lot* of Michael fans found this pill very hard to swallow, I mean...Michael has always wanted - needed a connection with his father. We finally get to see there IS a father, and they meet and get along and all that..and then nothing? Do they exchange letters? Will Michael get free backstage passes the next time dear old dad's in town to perform?
ANYTHING?? Don't get me started on that storyline, as usual...CowLip totally dropped the ball and missed out on something that could have been a billion times better than what we got. [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img] And they wonder why this show gets no respect? I will say this though, because of a spoiler I know, I think there could be a slight chance of seeing Danny again...maybe for 1 episode, but I think it's possible. We'll have to see though. __________________

Lady- Yep, in Season 2, Danny Devore, or his alter ego came to town, and Emmett and Ted were trying to get him to perform for charity yadda yadda yadda. At first he wouldn't even talk to them, until he found out that Mikey was Debbie's son...then things changed. Mikey just thought, oh he was a friend of mom's in high school, but it was more than that..after looking for him in his mom's year book, Danny Devore looked EXACTLY like Mikey does. It was heavily assumed that he was in fact his father...then he goes to Debbie with this, and she blows up...yadda yadda yadda, goes to see Danny and says, I want him to keep thinking his father is a war hero..get it? So then Mikey asks Danny if he is his father, and Danny essentially says your mother loves you...and denies it....
