Yes but the fact that Brian wasn't with Justin when the bombing happened, literally speaking, made it all more powerful - since Brian realized how close he was to loosing Justin again. And not because they were broken up but because Justin could've been dead. If they weren't broken up there's a good chacne Brian would be in Babylon with Justin that evening.

But on the other hand if they were together in this bombing it could've been a life changing experience for Brian as well. Just like in 510 maybe he would realize how easily Justin can be lost for him. And can you imagine if it was Justin instead of Mikey getting hurt? Poor Brian would probably go crazy...
