Of course they know when their anniversary is! Or at least Justin knows It's Gus' birthday obviously!

I think Brian knew it too b/c in 202 he asks "like the 1st time" and it's very sigh-worthy

and I think you're right about Brian secretly wanting the relationship b/c when he and Ted are getting drunk right before they all go to jail b/c of Mikey he tells Ted the reason Ted doesn't have a boyfriend is because he doesn't want one--and Brian didn't knock anyone's head off whenever they refer to Justin as his boyfriend

Exactly - Brian's all "I don't do love/relationships/boyfriends" but it's pretty much obvious that even him needs true love in his life. And wow did that sound melodramatic or what?

no it didn't sound too melodramatic--but yeah after 102 you could totally see there was something about Justin that Brian couldn't resist, how sad he got when he had to tell Justin they couldn't see each other and then 103 and telling Mikey Justin's kind of sweet and the whole dance

That 102 scene was so sad! Poor Justin I think that for the first time in his life Brian actually felt bad about what he had to tell him and that he actually made him cry...

Oh looks like you haven't seen the dvds outtakes He went after the trick and we had a batman jump But yeah if I remember well the scene was cut b/c they wanted to leave the episode on this more emotionnal scene with B/J. And yeah it was a bit out of place if they kept it.
