If they would let them be who they were they would be together. Married? Who knows. I would give so much to see more seasons and good ending and just see a different plot from season two.

I read a lot of FF last days, and I'm looking for some good ones (not so easy job) and I found some descriptions who made me cry. It's so depressing.
A lot of people wrote a sh.it, and finding the great ones I need to wade through a tons of crap.

I think this is a great question. It actually makes me wonder why the writers chose to kick off the story (from the UK version) with a teen's first sexual experience with another man. I think it shows that some (not all) people are looking for deep and meaningful connections. And that yes, sexual passion is PART of that connection, but not the only part.

So that said, yes, I think Justin probably should have done some more exploring, to better understand what kind of human connection he is looking for in a partner.

This is also why I felt his acceptance of an open relationship was an interesting turning point in the series. For me, it was always somewhat unbelievable. On the other hand, it may show how Justin felt coerced into something he didn't want.

I think it would be a normal teenage thing to have more relationships and try more things. it really would have been interesting to see him explore more

There is no rule for reationships and sex - some people will always have only one partner - cool and most of the people will have few or much more. There is no one rule to follow.
Saying someone should explore just for exploring is nonsense, especially considering sex relationships as boyfriends/girlfriends.
I never understand why people want to push it to the others, it works for some people and for others don't. And the worst thing is to make someone, saying they should try etc. It creates more troubles and all this sh.it.

It's sad people can't see and understand that everyone is different and what is working for one person will not be good for another 99% or backwards.

And it was sad reading and hearing all what Justin should do and seeing what writers did to him only to make some drama. It was cheap and they hit him low.

I agree, humans are far too multidimensional for that. The same may go for the relationships... when I think of Brian and Justin, I don't associate them with conventionality. That's probably one of the reasons I was, and still am, taken with their story. They were different and unlike any TV couple I'd ever witnessed.

The reason why I hate so any character in movies or th series is because they are predictable in schematic way. And usually the one which I hate deeply.

And as Denise said, I see it the same. They never were like most of the people and there is no reason why they should be. It quite opposite, they were unique of being different and special.

Yep. If it didn't stop him the first night/day, why you think it would keep him away this far along?

So true! Justin's love for Brian was stubborn, and I'm sure it's something he didn't really have a firm handle on. He couldn't stop loving him even if he wanted to. So passionate.
