^ Pretty sad because they had a great friendship potential. Even before the season Caity said that Mick is one of Sara friends but man how times changed.

yes... it can be sad when you don't agree with your captain and stand up to him/ her

I wish we could have some kind of optimism about it getting better but ... yeah.

^ I don't know why the writers didn't want to do more with these 2 in the friendship front.

Sara still has faith in Mick. She was the one standing up for him when Amaya thought he killed Rex. I think there was at least one other time when she stood up for him this season, but I can't remember what it was. They just don't hang out like Mick does with Ray or Amaya, or Nate and Ray. In fact, I don't think we've seen Sara hang out with anyone on-screen for non-mission related reasons since she became Captain.
I think it was interesting to see Mick stand up to Sara when he disagreed with her, and Sara not in the least bit intimidated. |

In general I guess I just feel something is missing with Mick/Sara, it could've been better but it's not. Seems Mick is closests with Ray, and briefly Amaya but just haven't seen it with Sara this season and it's upsetting because heading into the season, it was a friendship with a lot of potential. I just feel I need to see a lot more. |

I think even last season, they were "friends" mostly because they were both close with Snart. The Wild West bar scene was the only one with just the two of them together, IIRC. Now that Snart is gone, I guess I can see why they haven't had that many one-on-one scenes together (or at all).
But I do believe that the respect for each other is still there. They just aren't "friends" in the traditional sense of the word. |
